Hello world,
Ever since my very first day in London, when I accidentally discovered the old section of Baker Street tube station, I have been in love with this slice of Edwardian London. Every time I walk through the archways with the clock above, I think of London a hundred years ago and I knew I had to do a ‘Look of the Day’ shoot here.
Since it feels so vintage, I thought, what better than to channel the forties trend we’re seeing on the high street now, only with bold colours. Annoyingly the day that we done this shoot, they had shut that section of the station, so we could only do the atrium part. Still, it could have been a whole lot worse.
It’s funny looking back on those photos, as I was just getting sick that day and my boyfriend was threatening me with calling off the shoot all day unless I take it easy. Thank God I don’t look as sick as I felt. Ah the wonders of make-up!
Let me know what you think, and as always the information for what I was wearing is below.
Skirt: Penneys/Primark
Blouse: Penneys/Primark
Cashmere cardigan: Vintage from Beyond Retro
Fur stole: Topshop
Loafer heels: River Island
Clutch: Penneys/Primark
Until then,
Franzi

I would say lucky rather than annoying that the station was closed as it meant you were the only people there!!! Makes for a deadly shoot!! XX
Just wait until Wednesday’s Look of the Day comes up that we done in Westminster station!!! 🙂
[…] I do love the vintage trend and it’s something I gravitate to every time it comes back into fashion as it’s so ladylike and elegant. The original post can be found here. […]
