The Shoot

The Shoot: The Jewel of the Swampland part 1

Hello world,

I’ve had these sets of shoots sitting on my laptop for two months now and I’ve never found the time to finish them off and post them on the blog.

They are part of a shoot I done, called ‘The Jewel of the Swampland’ back in September, hence why I could walk around in a dress and not freeze my ass off.

I’m not a hundred per cent sure about them, so let me know what you think.

Dress: Thrifted in Berlin
Beaded cape: Vintage
Bracelet: Forever 21 and thrifted
Shoes: Zara

Until then,

Fresh out of college with an MA in Journalism, a passion for clothes, fashion and styling shoots, I was also the fashion editor of a magazine my colleagues and I set up called SCOPE magazine, which was disbanded three years ago. For now I'm just a freelance journalist and blogger.
Other than obsessing about fashion, I love theology and history, writing apocalyptic fiction (it's weird, I know!) and the occasional weeekend of horse-riding if I have the time and I don't injure myself in the process.

  1. I know, my opinion isn’t counting much, but I like the oppulence of the beaded collor against the simplicity of the dress… really…. love it!!! šŸ™‚

    1. Oh don’t say that! I love other people’s opinions!!!
I’ve had that beaded collar in my closet for over a year with no idea how to wear it, so I’m glad you like it.

  2. hello,
just discovered you on yahoo. Excellent write-up, I was just thinking around something comparable. May possibly start out writing a blog myself! I’m a fan! Many thanks
