The Shoot

The Shoot: Summer Breeze, part 3

The third outfit of the Summer Breeze editorial shoot is all about this broderie anglaise dress I got from H&M in light, white cotton. For this outfit I flipped the colour scheme, so that white is the dominant colour and green is the accent colour. The dress is more detailed than the first two outfits, but there’s and airy breeziness to the cutouts that is perfect for high summer. I styled the dress with this absolutely adorable green suede Jacquemus le chiquito bag, and the Jacquemus Bahia sandals in black leather. It’s almost a full Jacquemus outfit, lol, but I loved the combination.

I loved doing this shoot, because it meant I was faffing about in a meadow for a whole morning, walking through rivers, climbing up banks, picking meadow flowers and trying not to get stung by nettles. Fun fact, I actually snapped one of the straps of my heels when I stupidly thought it would be a good idea to climb up a river bank in a pair of heels and fell directly into a big patch of nettles. Let that be a lesson to all; take off your heels when climbing up and down slopes! 😀 But overall, I had a lot of fun doing this shoot, and was a lot more relaxing than my usual ones.
