Did I mention that I love exploring areas in and around London? I really do! For such a wide and expansive city, as a Londoner you can often become complacent with where you live and never venture outside of your usual haunts. So it’s nice when you do get a chance to go and explore this vibrant and diverse city.
Would you also believe it, that I’d never been to Richmond park? Considering that it’s such a massive park in one of my favourite areas of London, it was a bit of an oddity that I’ve never trekked through there. So we done a family day out early one morning and walked through the massive parklands, watched the herd of deer that live in the park (which my son absolutely adored. Dogs are his favourite animals, but a deer could definitely be a close second) from up close. We also managed to do this shoot here.
The outfit was inspired by an Instagrammer whose quite famous called yoyokulala, an absolutely gorgeous Asian girl with an impeccable sense of style and she wore a Matador hat and striped shirt and I just fell in love with the outfit. So I wanted to recreate my own version of the outfit and this is what I came up with. The lace trousers I absolutely love and they’re a H&M loves Coachella pair in a size XS. I haven’t fit into such a small size since before the birth of my son! To say that I was delighted they fit me is a bit of an understatement! It’s nice to have such a confidence boost and be able to wear smaller sizes again. The top is H&M too and the hat is an Italian brand called Cartazi, which you can also get on ASOS. So I hope you enjoy the outfit as it was a fun shoot from a really nice spring day in Richmond.
