The Shoot

The Shoot: Shoreditch Street Art x ASOS Walls

So I ask you, what epitomises summer more than ice-cream? Heady summer days spent eating such a cool and refreshing treat. Heck, you know summer is coming when you see people on the street with an ice lolly. So what could be more fabulous than a collection based entirely on ice-cream. In fact, why not do a capsule collection based entirely around vintage ice-creams from our childhood.

Well ASOS done that, and it turned out to be an absolute bestseller for them! Though the collection officially launched at the end of June, it took me a month to do a shoot and the images below are the end result.

The good news is, that while some of the pieces may have sold out by now, a lot of the collection is still on sale on their website. Yippee!!

So this is my homage to lazy summer days and fond memories of my childhood eating Twister lollies and Feasts.

Fresh out of college with an MA in Journalism, a passion for clothes, fashion and styling shoots, I was also the fashion editor of a magazine my colleagues and I set up called SCOPE magazine, which was disbanded three years ago. For now I'm just a freelance journalist and blogger.
Other than obsessing about fashion, I love theology and history, writing apocalyptic fiction (it's weird, I know!) and the occasional weeekend of horse-riding if I have the time and I don't injure myself in the process.
