Well it’s been a while since I posted on my blog. I really do wonder where the time goes with life; one minute it’s April and you’re enjoying the early spring weather, and the next thing you know it’s June and you’re working so hard you haven’t even realised that summer’s arrived. That I suppose is the downside to being back in work, you really miss the best part of summer.
So this shoot was done at Isabella Plantation in Richmond Park, this gorgeous little wooded park with the most colourful azaleas around. I’ve wanted to shoot there for ages, so on a really sunny spring day I took my son and we spent a day rambling around Richmond Park and watched the wild deer, chasing after dogs and we also took these pictures.
The outfit I’m wearing is my take on blue and fuchsia that was all over the high street this spring, and my absolute favourite piece are these Adidas Originals Superstar Supercolor trainers in purple. Who wouldv’e thought I’d be such a fan of trainers? Me, of all people! I also got to wear my vintage powder blue dress that hasn’t been seen on this blog in three years. I styled it with a denim shirt from New Look and this lilac wide-brimmed hat from River Island. It’s not my normal style, but I think it made a very cute outfit overall.
