Hello world,
I like ASOS. I’m starting to buy of them even more than I used to, and I love the speediness of the deliveries, the prices are usually quite good and their own collections are pretty amazing. So I was on a quest this week to find an absolutely gorgeous white jumpsuit from Motel that I spotted on a fellow blogger and just had to own.
ASOS had the item in stock, though before I went and bought it, I checked the Motel website to see if they had any other stockists where I could try it on in person. I was surprised to see that not only did they still have the same white jumpsuit on their website, but that it was a whole £20 cheaper!
Now I wouldn’t be surprised if ASOS did hike up the prices just a little; they have to buy the merchandise from the original retailer and they are a business so they have to think of making a profit, but £20 seems a bit much of a price hike. That’s nearly double the price of the original item.
So shame on you ASOS for that fail. Not impressed at all!
Sorry, just had to rant about that one. Gonna make a complaint to customer service while I’m at it, because that just seems a bit excessive in my opinion.
Until then,
Franzi
xoxo
