Look what came out yesterday! It’s the new Louis Vuitton ad campaign for autumn/winter and they look absolutely fabulous.
Shot by the acclaimed photographer Steven Meisel in New York, it features three generation of supermodels posing in a very ‘Mad Men’ scenario. Christy Turlington, Karen Elson and Natalia Vodianova star in this beautiful ad campaign in which the 50’s full skirts and dresses are shown off in exquisite detail.
Absolutetely to die for are the full skirts that go below the knee, the short bustiers and iconic Speedy bags, along with those amazing lady-like shoes – and I want them all. I for one can’t wait for the high street to follow in this trend.
This is what Marc Jacobs, designer for Louis Vuitton had to say about the collection, “Last season was all about the idea of the New Age traveler. This season was a manifesto for beautiful, ladylike clothes. Two different collections, two different campaigns, but one Louis Vuitton.”
