The Shoot: Spring Leather, part 1

Colourful leather for spring/summer? Are you mad? I can hear so many of you saying that, and to be honest I would have agreed with you several months ago, but hear me out. It’s all Louis Vuitton, Givenchy and Rochas’ fault. 🙂 They got it into our heads that leather pieces, whether they are tops, dresses or coats, can be in cheerful bright colours and we’d want to wear them, even as the temperatures heated up. And if we’d had our usual washout of a British summer, I might have been able to get more wear out of these outfits, but unfortunately 2020 is still proving to be troublesome in every way.

This is the first of a two-part shoot on colourful leather peices that are totally spring appropriate and incredibly stylish, even if you’re sweating while wearing them. 🙂

Leather might not be the fabric of choice for spring/summer, but I am here to change your mind. In bright new hues, this fabric is perfect for the transition period before the heights of summer.
