The Shoot

The Shoot: Embrace the Rainbow

This is the third of the rainbow series that I shot, all the way back in April.

My blog unfortunately has been neglected quite a bit, what with real life getting in the way. A very demanding job, moving house and raising my son has meant that I’ve got bits of shoots and blog posts from over four months ago! I will try and actually get them finished off and posted on the blog, because it’s a shame to leave them on my laptop since they’re actually really cute.

So please bear with me and my rather old blog posts from the spring. 😂

This entire shoot was mostly inspired by a collection Pretty Little Thing done back in the spring called Disco Carnival, and this metallic knit dress is another example of that collection.

The dress is so fabulous (though also ridiculously short too) that it had to feature on its own on the blog. The flats are Kurt Geiger, who kept up this metallic rainbow trend for autumn/winter when they released those amazing rainbow bags, that so have to be shot for the blog! The Pom Pom hairband was New Look, and looked ridiculously good with this pink wig I’ve got on.

Coloured smoke bombs finish off the look, and they were just so much fun to play with. 😊

Eight years in, and still killing this fashion game. Now a mother, wife, professional-by-day and part-time blogger in between, I still love blogging, producing fashion shoots and curating this blog.
My interests lie in producing high editorial-style content, shooting in grand and unique locations, make-up shoots and doing more studio shoots that really push the boundaries.
I'm open to collaborations and ideas, so please message me.
