The Shoot

The Shoot: Taste the Rainbow

This is the second of the rainbow series of shoots. While this one might be a little more muted compared to the first of the series; with this shoot I could really play around with the smoke bombs a bit more. Taken much earlier in the morning, when the dawn mist hasn’t evaporated yet, it created this ethereal look with the coloured smoke bombs.

The outfit is still very heavily inspired by PrettyLittleThing, this time in the firm of this short shaggy coloured coat. Teamed with some white rainbow striped slacks from Boohoo, a Calvin Klein bralet and those really cool metallic mules from Kurt Geiger; it’s a little bit more laid back than the last shoot.

The titles of this series is a play-on-words from an old series of Skittles ads when I was younger. 🙂 I wonder if anyone has noticed it yet?

Fresh out of college with an MA in Journalism, a passion for clothes, fashion and styling shoots, I was also the fashion editor of a magazine my colleagues and I set up called SCOPE magazine, which was disbanded three years ago. For now I'm just a freelance journalist and blogger.
Other than obsessing about fashion, I love theology and history, writing apocalyptic fiction (it's weird, I know!) and the occasional weeekend of horse-riding if I have the time and I don't injure myself in the process.
