The Shoot

The Shoot: Love the Rainbow

This is the first in a series of shoots on colours of the rainbow. Back in 2017, I done a series of shoots inspired by the Japanese culture and fashion, and for 2018, this series will be on rainbow colours.

And, it seems only appropriate that the first of the series is launched during Pride month. 🙂

So, this shoot was influenced heavily by Pretty Little Thing’s Disco Carnival collection they released back in April. It was all about fringing, colours and metallics and I completely fell in love with the concept. But, I wanted to push myself even more than I had in a while with this shoot. Lately, though the ideas have been great, my execution of the shoots hasn’t been the best and I’ve not paid as much attention to the details as I’d like to. This series of shoots is me trying to rectify that, and the first thing I got was this pale pink wig that is just absolutely fabulous. I also went and got smoke bombs, a rainbow coloured petticoat and a shot of me walking what looks like on water (but that you won’t see until a little later).

This was one of the more fun shoots to do in a long time; not only is Richmond Park (my favourite location on Earth) always amazing on a spring morning, but wearing such vibrant colours is truly infectious. So, enjoy this fun and bright shoot.
