The Shoot

The Shoot: Royal National Theatre – Greens

This is the second of the Royal National Theatre shoot, this time the focus is on the green outfit. I thought it would work best against these red painted staircases that can be found throughout the South Bank complex, because not only are they striking in themselves, but the green does stand out a lot better in front of them.

The outfit is a funny mix of old, new and some timeless pieces that even I have in my wardrobe. The sequined skirt is almost an identical match to an old H&M Trend skirt in my wardrobe that is currently in my pile that needs to be altered. The jumper is this cute green version of a current H&M Trend jumper found in the sales, of which I own the navy version. I love my navy one, especially the sleeves with the bows, though they do get in the way from time to time. The shoes, are a very old pair of Irregular Choice heels I must have bought something like 10 years ago and only recently brought to London from where they were in storage in my mum’s house. They’re kinda mental and even more mad to think they still produce the same style ten years later!

Fresh out of college with an MA in Journalism, a passion for clothes, fashion and styling shoots, I was also the fashion editor of a magazine my colleagues and I set up called SCOPE magazine, which was disbanded three years ago. For now I'm just a freelance journalist and blogger.
Other than obsessing about fashion, I love theology and history, writing apocalyptic fiction (it's weird, I know!) and the occasional weeekend of horse-riding if I have the time and I don't injure myself in the process.
