The Shoot

The Shoot: Winter Lights

Shot during the Winter Lights Festival at Canary Wharf, back in middle January, this shoot has been a long time in the making. I love the idea of sparkles and bright lights, especially during the depths of the winter months. when it’s cold and dark and you need an extra little pick-me-up to cheer away the blues. For me, that’s what this shoot was.

The star of the show are without a doubt, the sequined 80’s boots from ASOS. They’re so fabulously sparkly and a brilliant homage to the YSL boots that were all over the fashion magazines during the winter months. Teamed with this sparkly knitted leggings and jumper combo from H&M, and the end result is something quite eighties, quite sporty and surprisingly comfortable! The outfit is finished off with this metallic silver bomber jacket from Missguided and my Chevron detailed Le Boy mini and you have yourself one warm winter outfit. Now if only the lights all over the trees would have sparkled half as much!
