London Fashion Week The Shoot

The Shoot: London Fashion Week SS15

Hello world,

It’s Fashion Week time! I love this time of the year; when the seasons are changing from summer to autumn and the fashion cycle starts anew. September in the fashion world is more like January than the middle of the year, for it’s the time we all look forward to what we’ll be wearing for the next year, or at least the next six months.

It’s so exciting getting ready for Fashion Week as it’s so much more than just a fashion shoot. Therefore an outfit for Fashion Week is so much more than just a shoot outfit. With everyone wearing their finest and wackiest at Somerset House, a normal outfit just won’t cut it. So I tried something new.

I spotted this sequinned bra from Topshop and knew it was exactly the thing to go with my new jersey wrap dress from H&M Trend. It’s a bit out there that you wear your lingerie on the outside instead of under your clothes, but I have to say I really like the end result. As for the black leather sandals, they’re an absolute ringer for the Saint Laurent Jane sandals and considering they’re real leather and only a fraction of the price, I think they’re a brilliant find. So go New Look! You don’t always impress me, but your shoes always are amazing!
