The September issue The Shoot

The Editorial Shoot: Y2K

The second of the era shoots for this year’s ‘The September Issue’ is all about a fusion of nineties and noughties style. If you’re unsure how to pull this off, think Dua Lipa and Bella Hadid for their street styles. It’s all about mixing classic nineties elements with athleisure and added bling.

Remember, the heels are low, the hemlines are high and if you haven’t got a halter-neck neckline, then this chainmail dress will do the job perfectly.

Channel the turn of the century with these classic nineties pieces. Embrace tie-dye, classic tracksuit bottoms, shoulder handbags and Mary Jane heels for all things Y2K.

Location: Shot at the famous Brutalist housing estate in north-west London, Alexandra Road estate, it was the perfect location to capture this nineties era shoot.
