The September issue The Shoot

The Editorial Shoot: Strong Suits

The world is starting to feel like it’s returning to some form of normality, and with that comes the return of suiting as a dominant trend. While suiting was largely absent last year, because it wasn’t needed, it’s great to see that it’s back this year.

This season it’s all about relaxed tailoring, layered approaches and a minimalistic edge to the outfit. Neutral colours such as beige, nude and grey are also back with a bang, as are simplistic accessories. Think a structured bag here, gold detailing there and solid boots.

With the return to the office, and formalised dressing, it’s no wonder that the suiting trend is a big part of this autumn/winter season.

Location: Shot at the picturesque seaside town of Margate, amongst the Art Deco era open air lido and the pier, the location provided a blustery contrast to the formalised outfits for this suiting trend.
