The Shoot

The Shoot: Floral Overload, part 3

For the third and final shoot in the Floral Overload series, I thought I’d simplify the floral outfit into one floral balloon-style dress. Because the dress is so floaty and feminine I loved the idea of styling it with thick chunky boots, like these Lugg sole boots from Bottega Veneta.

Though thick chunky boots are usually reserved for the winter, you get a surprising amount of wear out of them through a British spring-time. Which makes it handy, because 6 months later and I’m still obsessed with them!

The floral balloon dress is from my favourite high street retailer, H&M, which really shouldn’t be surprising to long-term readers of this blog. I have been prodigiously loyal to the brand for many years now, and it’s dresses like this that showcase why.

The outfit really didn’t need anything else other than my hair tied up so it doesn’t distract from the outfits, and simple gold bracelets. Sometimes the best outfits need the least amount of accessories.
