The logo logo trend doesn’t appear to be going anywhere. Just when we thought we might have had enough with all the Fendi logo clothing, the high street have come out with their own interpretation. And the brand who have been the biggest fan of this trend is undoubtedly River Island.
To be honest I can’t blame them; I like really the trend too, with all of its kitsch and noughties obsession with plastering your logo everywhere. It’s cool, and River Island have incorporated their own take on the geometric print into the logo detailing. So, the end result seems to be a mixture of seventies brown, a monochromatic print and lots of logo detailing. It makes for a very cute outfit overall. The knit top and scarf are from River Island and the pants and boots are from ASOS. They are paired up with another main offender of the logomania trend; a Christian Dior saddle bag in navy oblique canvas. You know I just had to clash my logo prints for this outfit. 😀
So, the outfit was shot a couple of weeks ago, when I went to Pure London, to have a look at the autumn/winter fashion trade show. And I did promise to post my outfit as its own post, so here you go guys. 🙂
