Summer is truly coming to an end. The hot sunny weather is gone in Britain, August is over and fashion month and autumn/winter season coming around the corner. It’s a little sad to think that this might be it for good weather until next spring. This post in many ways is a celebration of summer.
I made this shoot over a month ago in Seaford, and I’ve always wanted to shoot outside these coloured beach huts. It coincided with when I was down on the south coast for a series of shoots, some of which have already been documented on this blog. I done the Polka Dots and Pastels series just a bit up from this location. But this shoot is very different to that one. This one is much more relaxed and on par with my normal outfit shoots.
The main concept behind this shoot was also all about the fruit print outfit I am wearing from H&M. It’s been a while that I’ve concepted an entire shoot around a single outfit that I knew I had to do. So, it’s nice to go back to that. The outfit is made up of this fantastic lemon print swimsuit from H&M, and a matching a-line short skirt in the same print. I just absolutely loved the sunny lemon print; and it’s perfect for our hot balmy days we had in July. The outfit didn’t need much else to it; I styled it with my trusty ASOS Espadrilles, and my Tommy Hilfiger and Hermés bracelets.
