Hello world,
It has been incredibly hot in London over the last few days and I don’t know what to do with myself. I was raised in Ireland, so anytime it got hotter than 20˚ Celsius back home (which wasn’t very often), we wouldn’t know what to do with ourselves.
Unfortunately nobody warned me about the heat in London over the summer or how swelteringly stuffy it gets on the tube, the platform or anywhere underground for that matter.
So what’s a girl to do, but bring lots of water, stand at the top of every carriage and long for the cool days back home.
It also reminds me of the summer I spent on a ranch in the hills in California and how we had the same problem then.
But we had a water trough! And running water! Oh how I miss that trough!!!
This was really the best idea we had that summer!
How do you manage to keep cool in this weather?
