I’ve spent the entire morning looking through the collections, looking for catwalk images of floral shoes and I’ve decided I really like florals. Like really, really like florals!
Take this D&G spring/summer ad, with all its whimsical florals, flowing maxis and beautiful models. What’s not to love about this ad? Then again Domenico and Stefano were always geniuses.
Then there’s these absolutely lovely floral tied sandals from the spring/summer 2011 Erdem collection. It is absolutely impossible to find some detail images of any of his shoes, but they are great to look at.
Lastly, how could I mention florals without mentioning masterful collection created by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen. Nothing more need be said. Just look at them and enjoy.
