The Shoot

The Shoot: Kew Redwood Grove

Hello world,

This is another one of my shoots that was shot a while ago, and hadn’t uploaded onto the blog. Though the clothes are a little out of season, what with it not being winter anymore, but it’s such a cute shoot that I thought I should pot it anyway.

I spotted a Harper’s Bazaar UK shoot from last winter that heavily featured differently brightly coloured fur in the form of jackets and dresses, and I loved the idea so much I wanted to do my own take on it. Coloured fur was all over the high street for autumn/winter 2017, so it seemed like a great thing to do.

I loved playing around with the clear plastic rain macs that were coming into season for spring/summer too, so there’s a bit of hybrid between the seasons going on here. This was again shot at one of my favourite spots in London, Kew Gardens, among the massive redwood tree grove they have there.

I especially loved clambering around the branches of these massive trees, and I think it shows in the images. Have a look through these images of me with my bare legs in winter-time, and walking barefoot on the forest floor.
