This is by far the best ‘Look of the Day’ I’ve ever done for this blog and it came across by pure accident. We had done the Baker Street shoot the night before, I was feeling pretty poorly and while those images weren’t the best, these ones came out fantastic. I love it when I barely have to do any photoshopping on them afterwards. The lighting was perfect, the camera worked brilliantly and even the cheers and usual catcalls I get when shooting on such a public place didn’t distract me.
This is my take on the metallic theme that we see every Christmas period. I tried to stay away from the overt sequins and metallic feel and go for something more subtle. With the stark grey architecture and metallic pieces at Westminster station, I thought it would be the perfect complement.
So let me know what you think of these images. They really don’t need any more of an explanation than that.
